Job Description:

Spectrum Health Services, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) servicing patients throughout Philadelphia. We are rapidly growing and are seeking a dynamic and resourceful, dedicated Healthcare Recruiter to source, select, and build a pipeline for areas across the organization including medical providers and support staff, administrative and executive level team members.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the industry and various skill sets needed for different positions within the healthcare industry, and master the ability to evaluate not only technical qualifications but also the resilience of the candidate to withstand the demands of the job.

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with Hiring Managers to identify current and future staffing needs
  • Establishing and maintaining external relationships to achieve recruitment objectives
  • Identify skills and competencies required to support current and future business activities and utilize recruitment media, job fairs, and e-recruiting tools as required to attract qualified candidates
  • Maintain database with accurate candidate contact information, qualifications and selling points
  • Establishing external relationships (schools, media, community organizations, ) to enhance recruitment
  • Taking part in job fairs, open houses, as part of the recruitment effort
  • Assisting with the advertising budget and suggesting approaches to employment advertising
  • Obtaining references and transcripts
  • Evaluating turnover and identifying retention problems

Experience and Skills:

Successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent business development, recruiting, negotiation, communication, management and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in recruiting or staffing required, and the ability to manage multiple lines of business is preferred
  • Healthcare and/or high-volume recruiting experience required
  • Communicates effectively, on the phone and in writing
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Computer savvy
